Catch up: Rock Springs, Wyoming (6 June)

Time to head East. 5 hour, 271 miles to Rock Springs, Wyoming.

I wish I could come up with better words than beautiful. But that is what this drive was. Grand Tetons on one side and amazing sights on the other. BTW: those windmills? The locals don't get the power from them. It is sent to California!

The Rock Springs KOA was not worthy of the KOA brand. It is a gravel parking lot susceptible for an overnight stay. But the Walmart lot is paved. And free. Alas, I haven't fixed our generator. We had a great meal at the Golden Corral. Rock Springs is very industrial. There are some sights to see in the surrounding area next time.

  1. It's a good thing you didn't let me chuffer haha because you would have returned alone so many lovely places I would have stayed at one haha
