Haircuts (and eating) (GTO)

Robin's been fussing about her hair being too long so we found a salon just up the road. What a find! Very modern with the nicest young lady ever owner. She said she didn't speak English but the more we tried, it started coming back to her. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the experience very much. Robin is VERY pleased and I'm happy with mine too. Cost? 200 peso's total ($11.62 for two haircuts!)  Plus tip, of course.
Robin & Dany

Dany gave us a great idea for a restaurant up in the mountains: "Restaurant La Sierra" WEB SITE. We're going there in a few hours so check back.
Awesome food, yet again, and bevs for $26

Near the restaurant was a pottery factory/store. We expected a single floor with a few samples. Wrong! 3 jaw dropping floors. If we had a house, the RV would have been full. Absolutely amazing place.

Anne: lo and behold they had the pitchers The Columbia uses for sangria, complete with The Columbia name. Guess they make them there.

Here's a link to the store CLICKY I sneaked 2 pictures that don't do the magnitude justice:

 The US distributor is HERE

  3. Can't help but not eat. Mexican food is the best next to your burgers and potatoe salad! Really, we are still talking about it.

  5. I can't believe the beautiful photos, especially the churches. We are all so scared of going to Mexico but you have certainly proved there's lots to see and do and it's not as scary as the news makes it out to be

    1. Just look at the elections. The same thing. The media likes to spin stories. I've lived here over 30 years. I'm not a rich American, I don't live in a gated ex-pat community and I earn pesos like every other Mexican. I've never seen a thing. We not only rv in Mexico but we boondock everywhere. I'm afraid to boondock in the U.S., not because it's the U.S., but because it is unknown territory. Come on down. We'll show you the real Mexico.
