Texas!

Pulled chocks at 0930 and back in them at 1530 in Victoria Texas. Found a great campground (Lazy Longhorn RV Park) at only $27/night, Hard to beat. LINK. Pictures tomorrow.

We stayed on I-10 much of the way since it was scenic and fast. Houston was "exciting"...traffic was speed limit but very very aggressive.

CG recommended a BBQ joint down the road. What a treasure! Been around forever and all family run. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Place was jumping at 1630 on a Tue. Mumphord BBQ (LINK). No way would you stop here on your own, but what a mistake that would be.

Afterwards I was taking a picture and the pit master invited me in to look at his "kitchen". What a great and funny guy. Very proud of what he produces.

What did we learn today? I-10 sucks through western LA and Texas! Shake rattle and roll.
