Alamos is a sleepy, beautiful Colonial town that's been here since 1685! Wiki tells you all about it LINK if you care. This afternoon we explored, had a nice dinner at a mom and pop place on a side street and wandered around the town square. Interesting that this humble place probably produced some of the best prepared food of the trip for about $16. It is a fitting end to our Mexican journey since the next town is just mainly a staging area for the run to the border.
Sights of Alamos in no particular order. What amazes us is the layout of the streets and alleys and they are empty! You can walk block after block and never see anyone. A good photographer could really do some nice work here.
