Vegas Lights on The Strip

We were both tired from yesterday so we just lazed around. I wanted to show Robin Vegas at night and we didn't want to tackle the long weekend mobs during the day so we chilled. Late in the afternoon we drove across the highway to the main base to hit up the commissary and PX and to take some pictures. Being the holiday, there have been no flight operations. As the sign says, Nellis is the home of the fighter pilot. Interalia, the Fighter Weapons School (USAF version of Top Gun) and the Thunderbirds call Nellis home.

More shots of the RV Park

That's us
We then did a buffet at a local casino to kill time until sunset. Pretty good and a lot cheaper.

Then to The Strip!

I thought he was dead?

Windshield tour of The Strip at night but first, one for my ole Bud, Croft:

I know someone that got married here. It was a great wedding.

  1. Elvis is NOT dead! Great photos and it must have been a great experience for Robin, never having seen it before. There is nothing quite like Vegas!

    1. Apparently, not only is he not dead but there are a whole bunch of him...saw at least 6 in various places on the strip.
