NB: one faithful reader has asked if we are ok since there haven't been any blog posts for awhile. We're great. Been busy doing other things and haven't been inspired to post. Another factor is uploading pictures has been a hassle with the wifi. We're on a more compressed schedule now and blogging time suffers. Will try to do better.

We've had some generator problems so we've had to stay at the CG more than desired waiting on the repair guy. Next trip we have to allow more time for Tucson.
A treat was seeing the Saguaro National Park LINK. Hard to believe that the Saguaro's seen here are 100-200 years old! These are heavily protected in Arizona.
Toured both the boneyard and the museum when we visited Becca and James in Tucson. He was there for a year between Air War College and his current command assignment at Barksdale AFB. They are leaving Barksdale for Air Staff assignment. May be there only a year if he gets selected for a Wing Command. We plan to visit No Va in the spring so may get to visit you in NC.
ReplyDeleteYea! Hope we see you in NC. We're in Nellis now. The USAF goes first class in facilities...wish they would spend some on keeping the A-10's flying!
DeleteTwo other great visits in Tucson..Sonora Desert Museum and Old Tucson Movie studio. The kids loved that one when they were little. Several movies and tv shows were filmed there over the years.
