We've just lazed around. Today we drive about 2 hours to Mazatlan. Don't think The Love Boat stops there anymore.
Here are some last random pictures of Teacapan.
Chilies are a huge crop here along with tomatoes and avocados. The road to town passes by several areas where they put the chilies on mats out in the sun to dry. One day they are bright red, the next day black. They also smoke/heat many under those piles of wood.
This rig pulled in 2 days ago. From the website on the side, they seem to be motor bike race contestants that travel all over the world. They almost never come out so we haven't chatted.They have a Lab that love to play with our pooches. EDIT: they are French. He's a retired 747 Captain. They've traveled all over South America and soon will do Alaska.
Last Color Marino/Teacapan Sunset
One more personal thing. Daniele and I were here 10 years ago and she loved the place. She dreamed of getting family to join us here and stay in the cottages. Yesterday I spread the last of her ashes on the beach in the same spot that she used to lounge and read. I hope she was happy with that. She came back to Mexico.
